Project Brief
A single storey family house in an attractive rural setting. The building is formed of two wings – bedroom/ bathrooms in one wing and hall/ living/ dining/ study/kitchen/ utility in the other. There is a mezzanine level for a second study over the hall and utility room. The house is clad in black stained timber to harmonise with local farm buildings and roofed in dark grey zinc to match local slate roofs. The client is proposing extensive landscaping work.
